The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported the interception of 36 Ukrainian drones during the specified time period on its channel.
The main focus of the attacks was on border territories. The largest number of drones was destroyed over the Rostov region, where 17 aircraft were shot down. Additionally, 12 drones were intercepted over the Belgorod region, which often becomes a target for attacks from Ukraine.
Three drones were shot down over the Voronezh region, and the same number over Crimea. One aircraft was neutralized over the Saratov region, which is significantly removed from active combat operations.
According to military information, all targets were timely identified and neutralized by the standby air defense systems. At the time of publication, there were no reports of casualties or destruction.
The use of unmanned aerial vehicles has become a common practice for both sides of the conflict. The Russian side has repeatedly emphasized that Ukrainian drones are targeting civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
