Both drones were shot down, and their debris fell near the auxiliary workshop. "Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries, and the plant continues to operate as usual," noted Khabirov on his Telegram channel.

The administration of Sterlitamak added information about an explosion at the Sterlitamak petrochemical plant, which partially destroyed the water treatment workshop where five employees were located. The official statement did not mention any injuries.

The Astra channel published photographs and videos showing several smoke zones on the territory of the petrochemical plant, taken by eyewitnesses.

The Sterlitamak petrochemical plant (JSC "SNHZ") is engaged in the production of rubber and aviation gasoline.

In addition, Astra reports explosions in the city of Kstovo, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the area of industrial facilities where two plants are located — "SIBUR-Kstovo" and the "Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez" refinery.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, during the night, air defense forces destroyed 85 Ukrainian drones, of which 40 were shot down over the Voronezh region, 20 over the Nizhny Novgorod region, and two over Bashkortostan.
