The nuclear weapons tests reported by Donald Trump will be conducted without explosions. This information was confirmed by U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright in an interview on Fox News.

The Secretary noted that these are "systematic tests, not nuclear explosions." He explained that they refer to so-called subcritical explosions.

According to Wright, subcritical explosions are planned to examine all components of the nuclear arsenal and to check their functionality and potential for detonation. His department is responsible for organizing such tests in the country.

These tests will be aimed at verifying new systems to ensure their effectiveness compared to existing ones, the Secretary added.

When asked about the possibility of a mushroom cloud for residents near the Nevada test site, Wright reassured: "No, there is no need to worry about that."
