Kazakhstan continues to export oil through Novorossiysk despite recent drone attacks on the port. The country's Ministry of Energy confirmed that shipments are being carried out as usual, without restrictions.

Currently, as reported by representatives of the ministry, the transportation and reception of Kazakh oil via the Atyrau — Samara and Aktau — Makhachkala routes are continuing without interruptions.

“We are in contact with Transneft to obtain current information. The situation is under constant control,” noted the official representative of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, Asel Serikpaeva.

Kazakh oil is exported through the Sheshharis transshipment complex, which connects the Atyrau — Samara and Makhachkala — Novorossiysk pipelines.

The Sheshharis complex is one of the largest facilities in southern Russia for the transshipment of oil and petroleum products. It has been in operation since 1964, providing reception, storage, and shipment of oil for export, as well as for supplies to the Krasnodar region.

It consists of 30 oil tanks with a total capacity of 820,000 cubic meters, 16 tanks for fuel oil (184,000 cubic meters), and 10 for diesel fuel (184,000 cubic meters).

On the night of November 14, Novorossiysk was attacked by drones, resulting in damage to the oil depot at Sheshharis. This was reported by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region. Coastal structures and residential buildings were also damaged, with debris from the drones falling, causing injuries to several citizens.

The head of Novorossiysk, Andrey Kravchenko, stated that the drone debris caused damage to the tank and the pier of "Black Sea Transneft," as well as to the container terminal of the Novorossiysk Transport and Expedition Company (NUTEP) and the oil depot at Sheshharis.

Previously, oil infrastructure associated with Kazakhstan had already been attacked by Ukraine. In February and March of this year, Ukrainian drones attacked the "Kropotkinskaya" station of the CPC, leading to restrictions on the transportation volumes of Kazakh oil.

Following these events, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expressed its concern regarding the attack on the CPC.

At the end of August, Ukrainian drones also attacked the Russian port of Ust-Luga, through which Kazakh oil is also supplied, as noted by Tengrinews.
