The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the launch of an interest-free lending program for entrepreneurs, which started in 2021 with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
According to the agency, from the beginning of the program until October 2025, the total amount of issued interest-free loans reached 9 billion 435 million 925 thousand 306 soms. Financial assistance was provided to 11,821 entrepreneurs.
In the first category of lending, which offers loans up to 1 million soms, support was provided to 9,675 entrepreneurs. The amount allocated in this category was 5 billion 775 million 222 thousand 424 soms.
In the second category of lending, where the limit is up to 3 million soms, 2,194 entrepreneurs benefited, receiving a total of 3 billion 711 million 42 thousand 882 soms.
