The share of Kyrgyzstan in the structure of car imports to Russia increased to 21.6%.
For comparison, in October, only 8.3 thousand cars were imported through Kyrgyzstan, including 479 used cars.
Experts from the "Autostat" agency attribute the growth in the import of passenger cars to Russia at the end of autumn to the introduction of a new recycling fee that came into effect on December 1. "Importers were eager to bring in the maximum number of cars before the rates increased," the agency commented.
