The import of cars into the country decreased by 24.7% over 11 months
According to information published by the Main Customs Administration of Mongolia last Saturday, 87,033 cars were imported into the country in the first 11 months of 2025, which corresponds to a decrease of 24.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Additionally, since the beginning of 2025, Mongolia has imported 19,809 trucks, which is also a 26.1% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
According to the traffic police, in 2024, 798,000 foreign cars were registered in Ulaanbaatar.
