According to the latest weekly macroeconomic review by the Eurasian Development Bank, in January of this year, Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 9%.
Analysts claim that the main factor behind this growth was high consumer demand. Domestic trade contributed 2.6 percentage points to the overall GDP dynamics, while the services sector added 1.9 p.p. Investments in fixed capital also showed significant growth, increasing by 17.9%.
The Eurasian Development Bank forecasts that in 2026, Kyrgyzstan's economy will continue to develop at a high pace, with an expected GDP growth of 9.3% by the end of the year.
