The voting in the elections held outside the country has been successfully completed. There was a high level of citizen engagement in this process, making it one of the most productive in terms of both the number of participants and the number of polling stations (PECs) opened. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, a record number of 100 polling stations were opened in 89 cities across 34 countries.
Due to differences in time zones, the closing time for voting at the stations varied. As of 10:00 AM on December 1 (Bishkek time), the activities of all overseas PECs were officially concluded. The last polling stations to close were located in the United States — in cities such as Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, New York, and finally, San Francisco.
