The voting for the early elections of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic has concluded abroad.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the electoral activity of compatriots abroad was high, resulting in significant achievements both in the number of voters and in the number of polling stations (PS) opened.

A record number of 100 polling stations were organized in 89 cities across 34 countries worldwide. Due to differences in time zones, the closing of polling stations occurred at different times. By 10:00 AM on December 1 (Bishkek time), all foreign PS had completed their work, with the last to finish voting being six stations in the USA — in Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, New York, and finally, San Francisco.

In total, 26,066 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the voting abroad, which is significantly more compared to the 2021 elections, when 9,826 people voted.

The expression of will was conducted in accordance with the legislation and in a calm, constructive environment. Citizens demonstrated a high degree of civic activity and exercised their right to vote from abroad.

The headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ensured continuous coordination of the work of foreign polling stations and promptly responded to voters' inquiries.

We express our sincere gratitude to our citizens for their active participation in the elections, as well as to the members of the PS and staff of foreign representations for their responsible and conscientious work in ensuring the electoral process abroad.
