Elections to the Parliament. A total of 26,066 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic voted abroad.

The voting abroad for the early elections of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh has concluded. The electoral process demonstrated significant activity from our compatriots and became one of the most successful in terms of the number of voters and the number of open polling stations. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the agency, a record number of polling stations were opened for voting outside the country — 100, located in 89 cities across 34 countries. Due to the time difference, the process concluded at different times depending on the location. As of 10:00 AM on December 1 (Bishkek time), the work of all overseas polling stations was completed. The last to close were 5 stations in the USA — in Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, New York, and San Francisco.
The number of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who participated in voting abroad was 26,066. For comparison, in the previous parliamentary elections in 2021, 9,826 voters cast their ballots.

The voting took place in strict accordance with the legislation, in a calm and constructive atmosphere. Kyrgyz citizens showed activity and civic responsibility by exercising their right to vote abroad.
The coordination of the work of overseas polling stations and the prompt response to citizens' appeals were ensured by the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
There were 4,294,243 citizens listed on the voter rolls. In the country itself, 2,492 polling stations were opened.
The official results of the elections will be summarized and announced by December 14.
