The Central Election Commission reported that on December 17, certificates and badges will be presented to the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the CEC, on December 12, a decision was made to register 87 deputies elected from 29 multi-mandate districts.
It should be noted that the election results in district No. 13 were annulled due to violations of the law.
A total of 460 candidates participated in the elections, including 271 men, 189 women, and 16 candidates with disabilities.
The CEC emphasized that the conditions of the gender quota have been met in the new composition of the Jogorku Kenesh of the VIII convocation, as provided for by the constitutional law "On the Elections of the President and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh."
