Toraga: Constructive criticism should be expressed in the housing complex, and the voice of the people should be heard

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic held on December 17, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, elected as the speaker of the VIII convocation, made an important statement.

During his speech, he congratulated his fellow deputies on their election and expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him. "I intend to direct all my experience towards strengthening the role of the Jogorku Kenesh in our society and country, as well as enhancing its authority," he emphasized.

Turgunbek uulu noted that the parliament will legally support the policy pursued by President Sadyr Japarov and actively participate in the country's development. "The Kyrgyz parliament is renowned for its openness and commitment to democratic values both in our region and on the international stage. Our task is not only to preserve what has been achieved but also to continue developing. We have all the necessary powers. We guarantee freedom of speech; however, it is important to remember that every opinion comes with responsibility. Regardless of the branch of power, if shortcomings arise, constructive criticism must be voiced, and the voice of the people should resonate from this high podium," he added.

Furthermore, the speaker reported that the Jogorku Kenesh will continue its work on developing and adopting laws aimed at improving the lives of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and enhancing their well-being.
