In the new composition of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputies emphasize direct interaction with citizens and the resolution of social issues. Parliamentarians note that this is related to changes in legislation that enhance their accountability to voters and focus on practical work through field meetings and problem analysis in the regions.
The main topics that concern the deputies include social support, benefits, accessibility of public services, and addressing systemic shortcomings faced by citizens. They emphasize that the task of the new convocation is not only to formally represent the interests of the population but also to have a real impact on decision-making practices in parliament.
Deputy Marlen Mamataliev stated that in light of legislative changes, his work will focus on interaction with residents. He will work in the Pervomaisky district, where he plans to hold his first field meeting in the Manas-Ordo residential complex. According to him, important issues regarding benefits for children, mothers, and the disabled are being raised locally. Mamataliev intends to study the problems in detail and propose changes to legislation to improve the payment system.
Moreover, he will continue working on his own legislative initiatives and pay attention to "green economy" issues. In terms of committee work, as a financial economist, he hopes to activate his activities in the budget committee. In his opinion, changes in the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers are possible based on the results of annual reports.
Deputy Seid Atambaev, who initially planned to work in the fuel and energy committee, is now considering participation in the construction or transportation committee. He emphasized his priorities related to the issues of voters in the Alamudun district and expressed a desire to work honestly and openly.
When asked about possible reshuffles in the Cabinet of Ministers, he replied that he does not expect significant changes if the government is fulfilling its tasks. He noted that this is his personal opinion and he cannot speak for the entire parliament.
Deputy Erulan Kokulov highlighted that the role of a deputy is to represent the interests of the people, and limiting his activities to one area is impossible. He intends to continue working on issues that were relevant in the previous convocation and will most likely work in the social committee.
Speaking about the government's work, Kokulov noted that personnel issues fall under the president's competence, and among the ministers, there are both successful ones and those who are not fulfilling their duties. He emphasized that parliament will openly raise issues of accountability for officials.
Deputy Dastan Bekeshev also stated that he does not intend to change the course of his work, as support from voters requires continuing in the same direction. He considers it important to unite with other deputies for more effective solutions to the issues raised during the elections.
Bekeshev confirmed that he plans to continue his activities in the budget committee, as he has experience in tax legislation. Regarding possible changes in the Cabinet of Ministers, he noted that radical reshuffles are not anticipated, but individual personnel changes are possible.
