The idea was voiced during the visit of a Kyrgyz delegation to Moscow. The trip, organized as part of the "Know Russia" program, included 62 deputies who sought to study Russian approaches to working with youth and adapt successful practices for Kyrgyzstan.
The parliamentarians paid special attention to the "Mendeleev Map," which in Russia provides talented students and schoolchildren with a range of benefits, such as tuition discounts, transportation, and access to cultural and sports events. The deputies are confident that a similar tool could significantly help young people in Kyrgyzstan and contribute to their development.
The "Aitmatov Map" project envisions the creation of a national program that will unite educational and cultural opportunities for youth, drawing on the legacy and values of the outstanding Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.
Additionally, the delegation learned about the Russian experience in implementing the "Region for Youth" comprehensive development program competition, which aims to support youth initiatives in the regions. The deputies noted that such formats are especially important for Kyrgyzstan and could activate youth participation in the development of their communities.
As part of the official program of the visit, Kyrgyz parliamentarians visited the Government of Moscow, the Situational Center, and the Moscow City Duma, where they were shown key urban development programs. The cultural part of the trip included a tour of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and a walk around Red Square.
The visit to Moscow became not only an opportunity for experience exchange but also an important step towards strengthening relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The ideas and developments obtained will be discussed by the deputies back home, with the aim of launching new youth initiatives.
