According to the CEC, a video was identified that was posted by user Taalai Ashkanbaev on the Instagram account named ukuk_official. In this video, he made accusations against Seytkazieva, who previously held the position of akim of the Issyk-Ata district, claiming that she issued illegal decrees.
Ashkanbaev, for his part, explained that he contacted law enforcement to verify the legality of the mentioned documents; however, no decisions regarding their illegality were made.
The working group responsible for informing voters concluded that the content of the publication infringes on the honor and dignity of the candidate and recommended taking administrative measures.
The CEC of Kyrgyzstan instructed to draw up a protocol and impose a fine on Taalai Ashkanbaev, which will amount to 125 calculation indicators — this is 12,500 soms, in accordance with the provisions of Article 66 of the Code of Offenses.
