According to Japarov, the launch of the solar power plant marks the beginning of a new phase in ensuring Kyrgyzstan's energy independence and the development of renewable energy sources. He emphasized that without active investment in the development of these sources, it is impossible to guarantee stable electricity supply for the population and the economy of the country.
The president also announced that 12 agreements had been signed with investors for the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of over 5 gigawatts.

Sadyr Japarov noted that $56 million was invested in the project, making it one of the largest in terms of investment in solar energy. This also indicates the growing interest of foreign investors in this sector.
According to him, the electricity generated at this power plant will be able to meet the needs of one district. The implementation of the project will not only not increase the load on the existing infrastructure but will also contribute to the growth of tax revenues and the creation of jobs, which in turn will support the socio-economic development of the region.
After the ceremony, Japarov visited the technical facilities of the solar power plant and spoke with local residents who raised important social issues.
