In response to this request, Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Agriculture, noted that since January 16, seminars organized by the Ministry of Agriculture have been taking place in the south of the country.
“In practice, many farmers are not participants in these seminars. I have always believed that they possess sufficient knowledge, but it turns out that this is not the case. They do not show a desire to learn and develop, to master new technologies. Nevertheless, we are ready to provide them with support,” he emphasized.
Additionally, Torobaev announced the establishment of a Farmers' Service Center in Leilek, where they can seek assistance.
During the meeting, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was also reviewed regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 in the country.
