In response, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev stated that this issue is under consideration.
“We are exploring the possibility of implementing insurance in this sector. I want to emphasize that not all agricultural crops will be included in the program, only the most critically important ones,” he added.
According to him, private insurance companies are currently operating; however, the mechanism for obtaining compensation has not yet been developed.
At the same time, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for the spring fieldwork in 2026 was also discussed.
