Sadyr Japarov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

Today, February 13, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, held a meeting with Ermek Kosherbaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, as reported by the administration of the head of state.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the most important aspects of bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and noted the significant potential for further strengthening ties.

The discussion also touched upon multilateral cooperation within international and regional organizations, where the readiness for joint work on the international stage was confirmed.

The President emphasized that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are characterized by stable positive development, becoming increasingly concrete, and that political dialogue is actively ongoing at the highest level.

Sadyr Japarov drew attention to the joint implementation of significant projects in the fields of trade, investment, transport, and energy, such as the construction of the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1.

Minister Kosherbaev expressed gratitude for the warm welcome of the Kazakh delegation and conveyed greetings from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

He noted that the trusting relationships between the leaders of the two countries create a reliable foundation for strengthening allied ties, stability, and prosperity for the peoples of both countries.

Ermek Kosherbaev also confirmed that one of the key tasks of Kazakhstan's foreign ministry is the effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and the activation of practical cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres.

At the end of the meeting, Sadyr Japarov conveyed his best wishes and congratulations to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as wished success to the Kazakh minister in his state activities.
