
The program for the development of culture and art in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2026-2030 has been officially approved, as reported by the government press service.
This document was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The creation of the program is linked to the implementation of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding support for the sphere of culture, art, and sports.
Within the framework of this program, activities, budget, and a matrix of indicators have also been approved, which will be used for monitoring and evaluating its implementation.
The document outlines the key goals, tasks, and priority areas for the development of the cultural sector in Kyrgyzstan until 2030.
Among the main goals of the program are expanding citizens' access to cultural values, creating opportunities for creative self-realization, forming civic identity, and strengthening the influence of culture on social and economic transformations in the country.
The program is also aimed at developing interregional cultural ties, supporting cultural initiatives, and creating conditions for active citizen participation in the cultural life of the country, including about 30 activities across six priority areas.
Heads of various ministries and state bodies involved in the implementation of this program have been instructed to strictly adhere to the established deadlines and ensure the completion of all tasks.
