According to him, over the past five years, new canals, pumping stations, and hydraulic structures have been built in the country, and part of the existing facilities has been reconstructed. In addition, modern systems for the distribution and accounting of water resources have been implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
“Water resources are an integral part of agricultural development,” the president emphasized.
Japarov noted that many farmers have acquired new equipment and machinery for sprinkler and drip irrigation, which has helped preserve crops over large areas and reduce risks for agricultural production.
The president added that the development of the agricultural sector is part of a broader strategy aimed at creating a sustainable economic model focused on supporting rural areas and their residents.
“We are making every effort not only to develop industry but also to form a sustainable economy aimed at supporting rural areas. Our main task is to provide every villager with support from the state,” summarized Sadyr Japarov.
