Agricultural Census in Kyrgyzstan: A survey of one respondent will take about 30 minutes, - National Statistics Committee
Orozbaev noted that registrars, enumerators, and coordinators had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the electronic mobile application during the training phase, which will be used during the census.
“We provided them with a mobile application, and they independently entered data about their plots. This allowed us to calculate the necessary time. On average, the survey of one person takes about 30 minutes,” he explained.
The specialist also added that in the initial stages, the process may take longer as enumerators will be adapting to the new system.
“When a person is learning to work with the application, the process may proceed more slowly. But over time, the surveys will be conducted more quickly,” Orozbaev concluded.
