As part of this celebration, competitions were organized for women in volleyball, table tennis, and football, while boys competed in freestyle wrestling.
The events were organized by the city sports department. Participants were presented with flowers and warm congratulations in honor of the holiday.
Additionally, the results of the winter football tournament, which started on January 31, were announced.
Teams from various city institutions and organizations participated in this tournament.
The following teams participated in the competitions:
- Toktogul Cascade HPP — two teams;
- Kambar-Ata HPP-2 team;
- OAO "Electric Stations" team;
- Kara-Kul City Council team;
- City Department of Internal Affairs team;
- Emergency Situations Department team;
- Military Unit No. 7706 team;
- Veterans of Sports team;
- Private Entrepreneurs team of the city;
- U-14 and U-16 teams from the Children's and Youth Sports School.
The competitions took place over two months on weekends — Saturday and Sunday. The matches were interesting and intense, and the spirit of competition was palpable at every turn. The program and schedule of games were announced in advance, and each game was held strictly on schedule.
It is important to note that this tournament had not been held for many years, and this year it was revived at the initiative of the deputies of the Kara-Kul City Council.
According to the results of the football league of the city of Kara-Kul:
1st place — OAO "Electric Stations" team;
2nd place — Kambar-Ata HPP-2 team;
3rd–4th places — both teams from the Toktogul Cascade HPP.
Athletes and teams that showed excellent results in the competitions were awarded medals, diplomas, cups, cash prizes, and souvenirs.
