On March 13, 2026, in the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir of the Naryn region, the company "Orto-Tokoy Intymagy" released 1.2 million juvenile fish of the lenok species with an average weight of 0.45 grams.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the stocking is part of the current plan for 2025-2026 and aims at the artificial reproduction of fish stocks in state water bodies, carried out by the Department of the Fishery Complex under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
Specialists from the Department of the Fishery Complex and employees of the Environmental Tourism Police participated in the event.
The Ministry of Agriculture notes that these activities contribute to the increase of fish stocks in the reservoir, the maintenance of biological balance, and the sustainable development of the fishery sector.
