The Housing Committee approved the program for the development of organic production for 2025–2029.

- At the meeting of the committee on agrarian policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection of the Jogorku Kenesh, held on March 16, 2026, information was reviewed regarding the implementation of legislation regulating organic production.

The director of the department of processing industry and organic agriculture of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Mukhtar Chynaliev, presented a report on this issue.

He noted that to implement the specified law, the ministry has developed several subordinate legislative acts.

In particular, rules for the certification of organic products and guarantee systems were approved.

Additionally, the Program for the Development of Organic Production in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2029 was adopted.

The main goal of this program is to create favorable legal, economic, and social conditions for participants in organic production, which will be achieved through state support, the introduction of a certification system, and increasing the competitiveness of products in the international arena.
