The opening ceremony took place today, December 25, with the online participation of President Sadyr Japarov. Local residents and representatives of the authorities at the regional and district levels also attended the event.
According to previous reports, the construction of this modern medical facility began on May 24, 2024. A total of 66 million soms was allocated from the republican budget for this purpose. The winner of the tender for the work was the company "Giant-Stroy Company," which offered a sum of 65 million 430 thousand soms.
- The old medical facility, named after Murzabek Kökötaev, was built in 1956 and was in a state of disrepair. The building's foundation had settled, the roof was leaking, the floors had rotted, and the walls had tilted and begun to collapse. The doors and windows were unusable, and the premises were heated by outdated stoves, creating extremely uncomfortable conditions for both the medical staff and the treatment of patients. This highlighted the necessity of constructing a new hospital.
