In the village of Ak-Tal, located in the rural district of Togolok Moldo in the Ak-Tal region of Naryn Province, streetlights powered by solar energy have appeared. This was reported by a Turmush correspondent.

According to Dastan Imankbekov, the head of the village administration, the installation of the lights was funded by the local budget on a street named after Ö. Alybaev, which is used daily by schoolchildren. This innovation will significantly improve the conditions for their safe travel to and from school.

Imankbekov noted that during the winter, children leave home at 7:30 AM and return at 6:00 PM, when it is already dark outside. Previously, similar lights were installed in the village of Jany-Talap, which prompted local authorities to request another 10 units for their village. “If we could install them on the internal streets, it would greatly enhance safety, especially for younger schoolchildren, helping to prevent accidents. We intend to continue installing lights on other streets if such an opportunity arises,” added D. Imankbekov.
