The project involves the use of cloud processing methods with iodinated silver, which is expected to increase precipitation. Successful control over the process will require the modernization of meteorological stations, as the existing ones do not meet the necessary standards for tracking air masses. There are also plans to build new meteorological points.

It is expected that the implementation of this project will require investments of 15-20 million dollars, with plans to use grant funding.

Uzhydromet specialists emphasized that the climatic conditions in the region have significantly worsened over the past five years. The rate of desertification exceeds that recorded over the last one and a half centuries.

The volume of precipitation is also decreasing, which raises particular concern given the accelerated melting of glaciers: Central Asia is losing about nine square meters of ice cover every minute. The reduction of overall atmospheric humidity creates an additional ecological burden on the region.

In addition, Abduhakimov announced a new national project called "Clean Air," which will include the development of environmentally friendly transport, improvement of building standards, increased greening, and enhanced measures to combat desertification.
