According to a study conducted by UBS bank, by 2025 the total number of billionaires in the world reached 2,919, which corresponds to an increase of 8.8 percent.
The most noticeable growth in wealth is observed in the industrial sector, where the figure increased by 27.1 percent, reaching 1.7 trillion dollars. More than 25 percent of this growth is associated with the emergence of new billionaires. In the financial services sector, wealth also increased by 17 percent, amounting to 2.3 trillion dollars, driven by strong market conditions and the recovery of the cryptocurrency market.
Additionally, in 2025, 91 heirs, including 64 men and 27 women, inherited a record 297.8 billion dollars, which is 36 percent more compared to 2024.
