There had been complaints about the car previously due to electrical problems.
In the Moscow district of the Chui region, on the eastern outskirts of the village of Spartak, the bodies of a 16-year-old schoolgirl and a 26-year-old man were found in a burned Volkswagen Golf 3. This information was provided by the regional internal affairs department.
A report about the burned car was received by the duty officer of the Moscow district police on January 20 at 09:53. The vehicle was located in a wasteland near a lake, along the roadside.
According to preliminary data, there were two people in the car: the driver O. E., born in 2000, and the passenger T. S., a 10th-grade student born in 2010, both from the village of Spartak.
It is known that O. E. purchased this car on January 11. Two days later, on January 13, he contacted the electrician S. S. for help in fixing the left headlight malfunction.
The electrician noted that the vehicle was in critical technical condition: the wires were exposed, and there was a smell of gasoline and smoke in the cabin. He warned the owner about the risks associated with operating this vehicle.
Currently, examinations are being conducted, and the investigation is ongoing.
