The republican art exhibition "Unguu Jol" has opened at the "Dubovy Park" gallery named after Chuykov. Journalist 24.kg attended the event to see how masters from different corners of the country embody national themes and traditions in their works.
The exhibition includes more than 150 works distributed across two floors. The first floor features painting and sculpture, while the second floor is dedicated to graphics and decorative applied arts. The works encompass a variety of styles and genres—from realism to avant-garde—and materials such as bronze, stone, and plastic have been used to create the sculptures.

The theme of the exhibition "Unguu Jol" focuses on national identity and traditional culture. Artists refer to symbols of Kyrgyz heritage, ancient ornaments, and current social issues, reinterpreting them through a modern visual language.
According to art historian Arzygul Kutuyeva, not all works could be exhibited due to limited space. Traditionally, the exhibition takes place at the National Museum of Arts named after Gapar Aitiev, but this year it was moved to the gallery due to renovations on the first floor of the museum.

As the art historian emphasizes, both experienced artists from the "Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan" and young authors from the "Youth Association" presented their works. All the exhibited pieces underwent a rigorous competitive selection process.
The exhibition is open to everyone and will last until November 25.
