On November 7, a presentation-discussion dedicated to the museum's inclusive initiatives titled "Tactile Space" will be held at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev.

According to the museum's information, the project called "Creating an Inclusive Museum Space for the Visually Impaired through Tactile Sculptures" was initiated by A. Naizabekova in 2023 and involves the creation of six tactile copies of famous sculptures.

As part of the project's development, the collection of tactile exhibits has been expanded, and in 2025, new works were added to the existing six tactile copies within the framework of the "Inclusive Museum" project, including copies of works by Olga Manuilova, such as "Help to the Front" and "Collective Farm Girl," the museum's message notes.

Zalkarbek Esenkanov, head of the restoration department and a member of the Union of Artists, created the country's first tactile copy of a painting made of plaster by the People's Artist of the USSR Gapar Aitiev. This exhibit also features a detailed description in Braille.

Additionally, thanks to the initiative of Alima Tokmergenova from the educational programs and cultural communications sector, the sculpture collection has been supplemented with a copy of a traditional alakiiz, a fragment of a shyrdak, as well as a modern homage to alakiiz by artist Jumabay Umotov.

To date, the museum's tactile corner includes eight tactile sculptures, three decorative and applied art items, one plaster relief with national patterns, and one three-dimensional plaster copy of a painting.
