The official opening took place on November 21, and the institution was named in honor of Uvadat Saburova, a Honored Worker of Culture and an Excellent Educator of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A total of 50 million soms was allocated for the implementation of the project from the overall budget of 500 million soms designated for the development of the Batken region this year. Additionally, 12 million soms were provided from the local budget. Furthermore, national musical instruments and necessary technical equipment were purchased for a total of 4 million soms.
The new building houses the city historical museum, a centralized library system, a children's library, and an arts school.
