This photo exhibition highlights the fates of families from the Batken region, where children are under the care of relatives because their parents have gone abroad for work. The project involves local kids who were trained by a photographer and took their own photographs.
The exhibition was first presented in Batken and will run at the National Museum of History until December 28 of this year.
The organization of this project was made possible thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the Goethe-Institut Kyrgyzstan, as part of a joint initiative of the Franco-German Cultural Institute in Bishkek.
