On November 29, a lecture titled "Coming of Age: The Art of Sculpture in Kyrgyzstan from the Late 1950s to 1990" will take place at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.

According to the museum, the lecture will be conducted by art historian and senior researcher Aina Moldokmatova.

During the lecture, the period from 1950 to 1990 will be discussed in detail, which became a key time in the development of plastic arts in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet era. Special attention will be paid to the analysis of monumental ensembles in the capital, monuments to outstanding figures located in squares and parks, as well as monumental-decorative sculpture that harmoniously blended with the architecture of public buildings. The decorative plastic art situated in the urban environment of Cholpon-Ata will also be examined.

Additionally, the cost of the lecture tickets includes the opportunity to visit the current exhibitions of the museum.
