According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this event is timed to the 97th anniversary of the birth of the famous Kyrgyz writer.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the local municipality of Muratpaşa, the Consul General of Kyrgyzstan Rustam Koshonov, the director of the library Duygu Erkylyntcha, and the director of the international department of the municipality Vural Korkmaz.
It is worth noting that in previous years, with the help of close relatives of Chyngyz Aitmatov, the library received about 1800 books, as well as computer and technical equipment.
