Currently, the process of artistically decorating the wall is underway.
Previously, there was a stained glass panel in this location, installed in 1974 at the northern entrance of the theater. However, on September 5, the theater's technical council decided to dismantle it.
“The reason for removing the old panel was the cracks in the glass, the damaged frame, and issues with the electrical wiring. In this regard, it was decided to remove the stained glass. The new mural will be dedicated to Chyngyz Aitmatov, after whom the theater is named,” the Ministry of Culture reported.
