The theater's management initiated legal proceedings to reclaim the land that had been transferred to a private individual without legal grounds. The court hearings took place in the Naryn City Court as well as in the Naryn Regional Administrative Court, where a decision was made in favor of the theater.
The final verdict in this case was issued by the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic in October 2025.
According to order No. 1851-b dated November 18, 2025, the State Agency for Management of State Property returned the plot of 0.15 hectares to state ownership, after which it was transferred to the operational management of the theater.
According to the agency, the value of the returned plot is approximately 33 million soms.
Currently, the theater is developing a project for a new three-story building, which will house service apartments for employees in need of housing, as well as a dormitory for young specialists from the capital and neighboring countries.
