According to the ministry's information, this plot was previously transferred to private ownership illegally. In this regard, the theater's management appealed to the court demanding the return of the land. The case went through the Naryn City and Regional Administrative Courts, both of which ruled in favor of the theater. In October 2025, the Supreme Court finally confirmed the decision to return the land to the state.
As part of the project, the following is planned:
- On the first floor — service apartments for theater employees in need of housing;
- On the second floor — a dormitory for young specialists coming to work at the theater from Bishkek and abroad;
- On the third floor — rooms for artists who come for tours.
