Pavel Rudchenko noted that the country's authorities preferred to avoid any political excesses, especially considering that Meladze left Russia in 2022, protesting against the events related to Ukraine. In his opinion, the singer may find himself among the artists banned from performing in Eastern countries.
It should be added that Valery Meladze was planning to hold a concert as part of his tour in Central Asia. For this, he needed to provide guarantee letters to the authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The musician fulfilled all the requirements and emphasized in his address that he would exclude any "political excesses," as well as expressed respect and deep sympathy for the peoples of these countries.
