The producer emphasized that such states value their ties with Russia more than the performances of individual artists, which complicates the organization of events for artists like Meladze.
He also warned that Meladze may find it difficult to perform in Eastern countries in the future.
The singer's team even prepared letters of guarantee for the authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, expressing love and respect for the peoples of these countries, requesting permission to hold a concert on the condition of excluding political elements.
The press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan stated that they have no information about a ban on Valery Meladze's concert. "We do not have such information; no notifications of a ban have been received," the press service quoted the news agency RIA Novosti.
