On December 25, the Osh National Drama Theater named after Sultan Ibraimov held a tour in Kokand, a historic city in Uzbekistan, where it presented its new performance "Kurmanjan."

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the theater troupe, under the direction of artistic director Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, performed on the stage of the Kokand City Musical and Dramatic Theater.

The performance "Kurmanjan" was created based on the works of the Kyrgyz folk poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, which illuminate the life of the famous historical figure — Kurmanjan Datka.
