According to the mayor's office, the mausoleum needed renovation as its condition, both inside and out, had become extremely unsatisfactory, and there were inadequate facilities for visitors. As a result, a complete cladding of the building was carried out, and comfortable conditions for prayer and pilgrimage were created.
The official opening of the renovated mausoleum is expected to take place in the coming days, with the presence of the chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as the descendants of Alymbek Datka and Kurmanjan Datka.
The reconstruction of the mausoleum was funded by the mayor of Osh and Kamchybek Tashiev.
