Previously, protocol instructions regarding the reconstruction of the mausoleum were issued, which included creating conditions for pilgrims and building guest houses. However, to date, no work has begun on the site.
The akim of the Chatkal district, Altynbek Senirbaev, reported that the improvement project is already ready and is currently undergoing the tender process. Active construction work is expected to begin in May 2025, with the completion of the entire project planned for the following year.

At the end of June 2025, the chairman of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, visited the mausoleum of the prophet Idrys, where he familiarized himself with the current state of this historical site and prayed at the location considered to be the resting place of the prophet.
Historians note that the monuments located in this area have ancient roots. Due to adverse weather conditions and the passage of time, some structures have begun to deteriorate. In 2011, at the initiative of Kamchybek Tashiev (then a member of the Jogorku Kenesh), the mausoleum was reconstructed, during which a roof was installed and the surrounding area was improved.
This mausoleum is a significant pilgrimage site for both the residents of Kyrgyzstan and citizens of other Central Asian countries.
