From January 18 to 24, 2026, Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, will host the Youth World Ice Hockey Championship for teams under 20 years old (IIHF Division III-B). This information was announced by the Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
All matches of the tournament will take place at the multifunctional venue "Bishkek Arena". The championship will feature youth teams from Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong (China).
Throughout the week, hockey teams will compete in a series of matches, the results of which will determine the champions and prizewinners of the tournament. The U20 tournament format is characterized by high dynamics and spectacle, where young athletes showcase their speed, character, and level of preparation.
