The championship will take place from December 22 to 25 in Bishkek, at the small arena "Zhashtyk," and will include competitions in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling among adults.
As part of the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament, which will be held on December 22 and 23, athletes will compete in ten weight categories: 55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 92, and 130 kg. Freestyle wrestling will take place on December 24 and 25 in the categories: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97, and 125 kg.
The goal of the championship is to promote Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, develop sports skills, as well as advocate for a healthy lifestyle and combat issues such as drug addiction, alcoholism, and smoking. Following the tournament, participants will be selected for the national team of Kyrgyzstan, which will compete in the 2026 Asian Championship, the World Championship, and international qualifying tournaments.
Athletes who place in the top positions will receive medals and diplomas, and will also be included in the national team. The competitions will be held according to the rules of United World Wrestling.
