The chess player represents the club SC Viernheim, which is one of the league leaders and boasts a star-studded lineup. In the team with Bayastan are well-known chess players such as Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Alexey Sarana, Jorden van Foreest, and Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus.

Kyrgyzstani chess player Bayastan Sydykov made his debut in the Bundesliga of Germany.
Bayastan began his performances in Bundesliga-2 in the fall of 2025 and has been regularly playing for his club since then.

His debut in the main Bundesliga took place on January 10, where he drew on his board, while the SC Viernheim team won against FC St. Pauli with a score of 5:3 in the 11th round.

The next day, January 11, Bayastan won on his board, and the team won the match against SC Hamburger with a score of 6:2 in the 12th round.
