On January 19, 2026, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mederbek Satyiev, emphasized the importance of creating modern and comfortable conditions for the workers of the judicial system. This statement was made at a meeting dedicated to the results of the work of the "Themis" boarding house for the year 2025.
According to information provided by the Supreme Court, the director of the boarding house presented a report on the institution's activities for the past year and plans for the future. In particular, it was noted that the total income of the boarding house in 2025 amounted to about 27 million soms, while expenses, including staff salaries, reached approximately 24 million soms.
Currently, construction work is underway at the boarding house aimed at creating a new dining hall and improving the territory. At the same time, the necessary documentation is being gathered to formalize the lease of the adjacent territory in order to expand the infrastructure and green the area. Among the planned projects is also the construction of a hotel complex.
Mederbek Satyiev instructed to develop a clear step-by-step plan for the development of the boarding house, which should define the procedure for accommodating vacationers from among the workers of the judicial system, both union members and non-members. It is also necessary to ensure the creation of comfortable conditions for recreation and holding events that meet modern standards.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Nurgul Bakirova, Supreme Court Judge and Chair of the Judges' Council Aida Seydakmatova, Advisor to the Chairman Ruslan Myrzalimov, Head of the Apparatus Sulayman Mykiev, Director of the Judicial Department Bakyt Kurmanaliev, and Director of the "Themis" boarding house Shermat uulu Beksultan.
It should be noted that Shermat uulu Beksultan was appointed as the director of the "Themis" boarding house under the Judicial Department on June 3, 2025.
According to the order of the State Agency for Management of State Property dated July 8, 2024, 16 cottages and a land plot of 7.33 hectares were transferred to the operational management of the Judicial Department, on the basis of which the "Themis" boarding house was created. The designed capacity of this institution is 320 people.
