On January 30, an Art dialog platform was held in Bishkek, focused on the issues of the book and library sectors, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

Key figures participated in this event, including Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, as well as First Deputy Minister Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov and representatives of the National Library, who offered their ideas for improving the situation in this area.

During the discussions, participants examined the current state of the library system, identified the main problems in the sector, discussed ongoing reforms, and addressed issues related to the development of a reading culture and the adaptation of libraries to modern realities.

As a result of the Art dialog platform's work, a resolution was formulated aimed at the further development of the book and library sector, which, as noted in the statement, contributes to strengthening constructive dialogue between government bodies and specialized institutions.
